Cattle moved quick the yards, whilst not aggressive they wanted to stay in a tight mob and move to increase distance between themselves and handler. They have had very little previous handling and have showed signs of settling with increased handling.,

A sound line of well bred steers. The Macreadie herd has been a consistent performer and has always had interest from repeat buyers who know the performance of the cattle. The foundation of the herd dates back to the Trevellin herd dispersal and have been complimented by the Long Valley Black Simmental Angus genetics. The calves from this herd have proven themselves with high daily gains and yield when given the opportunity through both grass and grain fed systems. Benefiting from hybrid vigour the steers show plenty of length, capacity and early signs of carcass expression which will be a feature of their future growth and maturity.
