A good to very good quality line of vendor bred Angus weaner heifers. With 52% medium and 48% large frame they exhibit good weight for age. They have been yard weaned from the 22/03/23 onwards and during weaning they have been handled using Low Stress Stock Handling techniques and have been educated to hay racks and self feeders. They have had their first Bovilis MH + IBR vaccine in February and look fit and healthy. These heifers are ideal to background to heavy domestic feeder weights and then grain or crop finish for a range of high quality slaughter markets. Alternatively, with their quality genetic background, the top 50% have would suit to grow out and join as potential future breeders. Two heifers with very slight blue eye in one eye, will be rechecked for any active pink eye prior to delivery. They are located just off the Barwon Highway approx 15 km west of Goondiwindi and would be easy to link into any carriers moving north or south.

Vendor bred - Angus bulls over Angus cows. Some Angus cows could have Red Angus in their background from a Red Angus bull used in the past.

Angus bulls (Clunie Range Q999, P477, Mountain Valley P839) over Angus cows that originally were Eaglehawk bloodlines.

Weaned into yards 22nd March 2023. Now in small weaning paddock with oaten hay in racks and access to Woods Grain beef weaner pellets. For last two months while on mothers they had access to Riverina Calf crumble via creep feeders.

Heifers had access to bulls while on mothers until the 25th of January. No access since. Vet was consulted and stated highly unlikely would have got in calf at the then January weights.
