Anbus Baldy steer calves out of the main line of the weaner steers that the Hutchings family normally yard at the Annual Tenterfield March & May Weaner sales and are keenly sought by repeat buyers. The previous drought impacted calving pushing them back to a later calf. Steers weighed 171kg to 260kg to average 220kg following a 20 hour dry curfew. These weaners were good to handle during assessment and drafting, normally worked with dogs from a vehicle and will now remain in the yards and adjoinging holding paddock up until delivery, for weaning and further handling. Brother & Sister lines in the same sale. No allowance has been made for weight loss during weaning - make your own assessment.
