Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Heifers flowed well through home yards while being worked by vendor quietly during assessment. A % of heifers became unsettled when confined in crush but were quick to resettle once released back into mob. (1 heifer became very unsettled in crush) Heifers tended to stay mobbed up during photos with a few heifers wanting to trot around yard which made balance want to do the same.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, a line of 19 vendor bred Charolais cross heifers presenting in healthy store condition to have an estimated average delivery weight of 240kg. Heifers would be ideal to background for the feedlot market of your choice, fatten on crop or a large percentage also would be suitable to retain as future breeders. Please note: Delivery dates flexible if potential purchaser is affected by wet weather. This vendor has 3 sister lots in same sale.

PICK OF 3 FULL FLUSH HEIFERS
Palgrove Charolais
· Flush · Charolais · Sire: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · Dam: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · PK25W83E, PK25W44E, PK25W53E (Pick of 3 flush sisters) True to our word, when we release females of this calibre it’s a genuine opportunity to secure the very best our program has to offer — something we don’t do more than twice in a decade. These three full flush sisters, all from one of our elite donor females, represent a rare chance for new or established stud breeders to invest in a future donor female with enormous upside. We couldn’t split them, so the choice is yours — and what a statement they would make at the World Congress in Brisbane this August. They are out of a proven donor female and sired by Rockerfella, who sold to the Ascot Stud for $100,000 in 2022. His first sons featured in last year’s sale, with 20 sons selling to average $20,737, underlining the consistency and demand for this sire line. They also have a full flush brother from the same program who is something truly special. If we don’t retain him, he will feature as a highlight bull in the yearling section of our September sale. Their dam has an outstanding production record, with 20 recorded progeny before the age of five, returning over $100,000 in her first year of sales from just five progeny. This included Ultrahot, who sold to Futurity Charolais for $40,000, and another daughter who sold to Black Duck Charolais for $18,000 as a 10-month-old heifer, who has since entered their donor program. The granddam is also a prominent donor with progeny reaching $36,000. A further first-calf Landmark daughter retained in our herd and full sister to Ultrahot ($40,000) was flushed this year, producing 14 eggs, reinforcing the exceptional fertility and consistency of this female line. You take the choice — and ‘Make your Mark’ on the Charolais breed.
