STEERS WERE EASY TO WORK THROUGH THE YARDS AND CRUSH BUT WERE UNSETTLED IN THE WEIGH BOX SECTION DUE TO THE CLANGING HINGES ON THE GATES. ONCE OUT OF THE BOX THEY IMMEDIATELY SETTLED.

PRESENTING MRS JOAN BURKES YEARLING FEEDER STEERS IN TODAYS SALE OFF GOLDEN VALLEY, COWRA, WITH OVER 50 YEARS OF TOP QUALITY SHORTHORN BREEDING. THE STEERS ARE PRESENTING IN FRESH FORWARD STORE - FORWARD CONDITION BUT ARE STILL IN THEIR WINTER COAT. GOOD SQUARE BODIES STANDING ON GOOD BONE AND SOUND IN ALL RESPECTS AND SHOWING GOOD COVER OVER THE RUMP, BRISKET, TAIL AND STARTING TO FILL IN THE LOIN WHICH IS DUE TO THE OUTSTANDING SEASON IN THE DISTRICT. THEY HAVE NOT HAD A CHECK SINCE BIRTH. DEEP RICH RED, SOFT ROANS AND BRIGHT WHITES IN THE MIX. WELL BRED STEERS THAT ARE NOTED PERFORMERS IN THE FEEDLOT AND OVER THE HOOK WITH VERY POSITIVE FEEDBACK. PERFECT TO DEVELOP INTO HEAVIER WEIGHTS FOR THE DOMESTIC OR EXPORT MARKET ON GRASS OR CROP, OR COULD BE INDUCTED ONTO GRAIN TO POWER AHEAD TO MEET MARKET SPECIFICATIONS. PLEASE NOTE A FURTHER 10 STEERS JUST UP THE ROAD AT THE AITKEN FAMILY PROPERTY WHICH ARE THE SAME BREED. PUT TOGETHER A RUN OF 30 HEAD.
