Overall heifers were good to handle. A couple of heifers were slightly unsettled when pressure was applied in the yards but once taken off they settled down. Cattle handled well through the race/crush and on the scales.

On offer is a quality line of 20 vendor bred NSM future breeder Angus heifers. These heifers are bred out of large to medium frame Angus cows with Reiland, KO & Tails Angus genetics running through their blood. Heifers on offer would make good future breeders or would also be ideal cattle for a backgrounding program. Heifers are PCAS Eligible if the Successful purchaser wishes to put them into a grass fed program. The Armitt family are renowned throughout the district for their high preforming cattle in the feedlot pen and over the hooks. 9 Heifers were noted with old ringworm patches around their head/neck, deemed not detrimental in the assessor’s opinion. Couple of heifers noted with white on their udders & one heifer noted with white from her udder to her navel. The vendor will also offer 20 backgrounder Angus steers in the same sale.
