Heifers are prone to panic and want to either rush and/or move away when worked in close quarters. Most did not settle in the confines of the head bale and race although are always worked with a jigger which almost certainly contributes to this. Nothing is in anyway aggressive or dangerous in any way, just a tend to panic a bit.
