Assessor Comments
Due to the tough seasonal conditions, a rare opportunity has presented to purchase a line of quiet, impeccably bred steers. Cattle comprise of top-end Shorthorn genetics, with steers sired by Sprys Golden Rod T83 bull out of a stud base herd of Outback Shorthorn cows. They are an article that would suit multiple avenues, such as a feedlot program, trade market or grow into heavy grassfed bullocks given the right opportunity. Sires are purchased with an emphasis on high growth rates, temperament, docility and structural integrity, with these steers being a prime example of all. Steers have a great reputation with repeat buyers as they are proven to excel and provide in whatever avenue you choose. A tail has been removed ensuring a genuine lead draft. Vendor also has another 18 heifers on offer in the same sale. Buyers please note that due to the lack of feed, the vendors have decided to priorities the calves and keep them unweaned until delivery.
