Steers were very well mannered throughout assessment. A few showing some nervous behaviour leading up the the race, but all standing perfectly still and quietly on the scales, then exiting at a walk. Just the one steer that was nervously rocking about on the scales, listed above as slightly stirry. Very well handled & very easy to walk through in the yards.

Very nice line of pure Te Mania Angus Steers. Cattle that have not been spoilt as a result of the season, and have eased their way out to 315kg at just 10 months of age. Carrying minimal condition and presenting all frame, thus, making them an ideal lot of superbly bred young cattle to take through to some Spring pastures and reap the benefits of some instant compensatory weight gains. Out of Ex Team Te Mania Angus Cows, By Te Mania Angus sires, bred for 400 & 600DW, IMF & positive carcass figures, as well as docility. Steers that have all the genetics, as well as the frame & scope to take them forward in to any chosen market, be it feeder weights or export.
