Some steers had a slightly bigger flight zone in the back yards, and were more comfortable when part of the larger mob. All led up the race quite sensibly, and all of them stood still on the scales, just a few that exited in a bit of a rush to get back to their mates. Let out in to a small cooler yard for photos, and settled nicely, then walked back into the yard with one handler and a young dog - see video.

Assessor Comments
Nice even run of well bred Landfall & Cluden Newry blood Angus Steers. Purchased off a couple of breeders out of Tasmania, so carrying a few different ear marks. Vendor runs a broad acre cropping operation, and these steers were purchased back in the Autumn to clean up some very rough hill country out the back of the property. Have served their purpose, and been easy to handle through the process. Now it’s time for another buyer to appreciate the compensatory weight gain, and finish them off. Good quality steers that were very light when purchased and have grown out well, despite being on very average native vegetation and not getting spoilt. Nice lot of steers to continue on, with the scope to do either a feedlot or export job. Please Note. Steers had an 18 hour lock up prior to weighing.
