A small but quality run of EU Shorthorn steers to average 293kg curfewed. Steers have been grazing on a vetch crop for 35 days and have a mob average of 1.7kg per day weight gain since grazing the vetch. The 8 red tag steers in the mob are vendor bred from the Weenya herd, whilst the 13 White tag steers were purchased as cow & calve units ex Cassliss area as Royalla blood. These steers have one foot in the door of the JBS Shorthorn program and given the proper nutrition moving forward they would represent a safe trading opportunity. Steers that rarley are on offer to the general public.
