Very quiet young steers to handle. All remained calm throughout the whole assessment. Walked through the yards sensibly, in to the force and up the race. The very odd steer may have some some stomping on the scales, but all exited at a walk and joined back with their brothers.

Take note of the weight for age of these calves, and then do some comparisons - 340kg, 9 hours off feed, and only 8-9 months of age. These calves have been steaming ahead all Winter and will find another gear as soon as Spring hits. Huge amount of shape throughout, especially in their butt shape. Vendor would love nothing more than to value add these impressive, high performing calves himself, but unfortunately have to be sold, due to it being time to come off the crops.
