Steers were well behaved throughout assessment. All came through the race quietly, a few pushing forward as they got closer to the crush. Some were a bit upset when they had to be caught in the head bale to treat their eyes. But all exited the crush well and settled immediately back in the yards with their brothers.

Assessor Comments
The Clarke family are fourth generation cattle producers in the Upper Murray and have been using select Reiland Angus genetics in their herd for the last 20+ years. Always selecting Bulls with desired traits, focusing on high growth, being 400 & 600 DW, & strong carcass qualities, particularly IMF & EMA. Out of a large framed herd of heavily classed cows. This mob of young steers have not been spoilt, and have been running on only very basic pastures all Summer making them the perfect line of little growers to tuck away.
