Well mannered, well educated young gentlemen. All handled in a low stress environment. Very easy to draft off from their sisters, Quietly walked up the race, were good on the scales, and all exited at a walk. Let out in to the holding paddock for photos/videos and were quiet to walk around on foot with in the larger space. 1 steer was a bit anxious & did some rocking and weaving in the crush, listed above as slightly stirry. Settled straight back down as soon as he rejoined his brothers.

Assessor Comments
Constantia Angus offer this very nice line of hard to find, fresh Spring drop weaners. Steers that have been calmly & properly handled & educated, received all the animal health treatments to give them the best start and are ready to take off when the Autumn pastures climb through. Out of enormous big cows (some of the empties dressed out over 360kg) by select Jarobee, Stella & Lawson sires, always selecting for structure, growth & temperament. These would be an ideal line of lighter weight, early calves to take on, that won’t eat you out of house & home and will happily tick along until the Spring time!
