Assessor Comments
Buyers 22 predominately Booroomooka Angus blood heifers, originally purchased Yarrowych New England district as light heifers. Average weight then was 160kg, at this assessment heifers averaged 276kg. Heifers have been running on natural pastures and have done reasonably well considering how light they started. Heifers were extremely quiet and easily handled at assessment. They should go ahead if given the opportunity and would meet most market specs. These heifers should provide compensatory weight gain. Please note 2 heifers observed with slight warts, 7 seen with varying white on udder or belly, 2 heifers are more Angus cross, 1 showing slight Ultrablack characteristics. Also worthy to note, heifers have had 2 shots of 7 in 1 from previous vendor, they have not had booster.
