Heifers were reasonably good to handle in a set of yards that are poorly designed. There were a few that did get a bit nervous on the scales and in the crush and most resented being pregnancy tested. In the bigger yards there were a few that tended to trot around a bit and they definitely need to be steadied through gateways. Nothing in the line that could be described as aggressive.

Buyers, a line of domestic feeder heifers that were weighed 348-482kgs full. As mentioned these heifers are CERTIFIED ORGANIC and will suit to take to heavier slaughter weights off grass, crop or grain. They would also suit to go to bulls of choice for future breeding purposes. Noted one heifer with a cloudy eye but nothing with active blight. There are 2 other lots of cattle in the sale from this property that can be used to fill decks.
