Small % of animals with a bit of "run" in their step during the assessment. It is to be noted that they had all come off a reasonably fresh paddock of feed & also being assessed in set of yards with concrete with a slippery base didn't help their case. Increased handling & time will quickly improve their temperament in my opinion.

Breakaway Valley is situated on the Goulburn River flats of Acheron where these animals haven't had a bad of their lives since being born & I personally believe they will excel even more if given the opportunity to some warmer weather. Displaying exceptional muscle & shape along with frame size these Steers are at the perfect weight for a feed lotting opportunity or to grow into a pasture fed bullock later in the year.
