Heifers were good to handle during the assessment. The odd heifer stirred up when seggrated in the pound, however settled once returned to the mob.

A nice line of Santa and Hereford cross Heifers that have been on a silage based grower ration (40% silage) for the last 22 days. Heifers on a rising plain of nutrition and present in good store condition. One heifer was noted to be reasonably quick through the drafting process and an odd heifer was unsettled whilst in the pound, but settled when returned to the mob. An odd heifer was noted at assessment to have old pink eye scarring. Please note the same vendor has a sister line of heifers offered in the same sale that would make a neat two decks.
