Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These heifers have had little handling since weaning and handle well considering. Heifers worked quite quickly through yards. As a group they wanted to rush back and forth as a mob and when singled out were not used to being handled and did heat up a bit however nothing was aggressive just wanted to rush away. If handled a few more times through yards these cattle should settle down.

Assessor Comments
A line of heifers that were purchased as quite well bred calves. These heifers were majority early weaned due to lack of summer rain in the forest country north of Richmond. Given the condition, frame and breeding of these calves they have the potential to perform well with quick gain on heavier grass country or on early crop. A good opportunity to purchase lighter weight heifers without the fright bill from the far north. Ideal to get to joinable or feeder weights. *note* please note assessment date. On inspection of cattle, there appeared to me no changes from original assessment apart from more winter coat on cattle. Therefore original assessment used from when last offered 2-3 weeks ago.
