Temperament has been bred in to these cattle, as well as consistent and calm handling. Very easy to walk up the race, all stood quiet on the scales and exited at a walk. One steer became anxious after putting a hand on his rump to fat score, some rocking back & fourth. He exited at a walk and wandered back to his brothers. Exceptionally quiet steers that could be handled by a stockman of any experience.

Annual draft of the well renowned 'Major Ridge' Shorthorn Calves. Fully Grass Assured & Antibiotic Free. These are some of the best bred Shorthorn cattle in the greater district. Out of enormous cows, These calves have had the best start possible in life and have all the breeding behind them to keep going forward on delivery. Absolute standout cattle with huge bone and length about them. Soft, fleshy, heavy set style with square backs on them, bred to perform.
