Steers do have rush about them, only typical of age and the fact they haven't been handled. Nothing showed aggression in yards but there were steers easily agitated when little pressure was applied.

Buyers here is a run of steers that will continue to grow out & should not disappoint. Steers are predominately Santa or Santa cross by either Santa and Hereford bulls out of crossbred cows.
Vendors cattle in past have gone on and done a very good job in most enterprises.
Please note majority of steers were weaned on 27th May, however there are some steers in today sale that were not. Therefore all 22 steers have been retained in yards since assessment on good quality hay, they will be turned out at the end of the week onto frosted pastures -hence why negative weight gain given.
Please note at least 3 steers seen with swollen purse, still recovering from marking.
