Heifers were a little bit anxious in the yards, nothing silly, just a bit fast moving when pressure was applied. All led up the race well, following on without hesitation. A bit nervous in the crush, doing some rocking and stomping. Still a bit anxious in the back yard when taking photos, just struggling to settle. Heifers that just need some further handling and education.

Hillgrove Star Pastoral offer a very neat line of EU/Never Ever accredited Rennylea & Te Mania Angus blood Heifers. Very stylish line of Heifers, originally selected as the ‘keeper’ females, unfortunately not conceiving in the allowed joining period. These heifers are now running seperate on a fresh paddock of clover & Rye, and have been doing in excess of 2.2kg/day. The brothers of these heifers are sought after annually by top end feedlots for their reputation for performing. These heifers would be an ideal line of fresh, well bred females to do a short term turn around on, start on a feed ration and finish for the Supermarket with the reputation and genetics to back them.
