These Steers were an absolute pleasure to handle. They walked into the Yards, drafted without fuss and flowed quietly and sensible up the race and through the weigh box.

24 outstanding Angus Steers off “Bruanlea”. Aug/Sept 2023 drop, very well bred and extremely quiet. These Steers are ideal to background or grow out to grass fed Bullocks, whilst having the required maturity and growth for immediate Feedlot entry. They display terrific bone, growth and softness. These Steers were bred on “Murndal”, a neighbouring property. They were walked onto “Bruanlea” as light Weaners, & have been grown out to feeder weights. These Steers have also been receiving a silage & pellet based mixed ration each day, that is compliant with all grass fed programs. They are by leading Weeran Bulls, out of Weeran Blood Cows. It is also worth noting that no expense has been spared on health protocols. They have had 2 X 5 in 1 doses, were drenched in Summer & Autumn, vaccinated against BRD with Bovi-Shield & Rhinogard & were injected with Piliguard in Autumn.
