A mob of steers that were yard weaned for 7 days and handled everyday with dogs and moved through yards to imprint the cattle. Steers walked into and through the yards quietly with no fuss.

Presenting a line of vendor bred feeder Angus x Angus steers. Annual sale of feeder steers that have performed very well given a tough Autumn where they were running on lucerne based pasture and fed VGQ silage from weaning before having full access to red wheat and rye grass crop and header tailings. Assessed steers have recorded a minimum weight gain of 2kg/day over the last month and are really hitting their straps. Assessed cattle have grown out well and have plenty of frame to go into a feedlot or stay on grass to reach heavier weights. Steers are bred from Medium/large to Large frame cows. Grass fed steers that vendor is happy to sign grass fed statement. 5 steers at assessment have old pink eye scarring which was deemed nondetrimental to their vision, please see photos.
