Steers worked well through the race with a minimum of fuss & stood quietly on the scales. These steers have had exposure to horses. Easy cattle to work with, temperament no issue at all.

A great opportunity to purchase a rarely available line of high grade, purebred Charolais Steers. Coming from a closed stud herd that is JBAS 7, Pestivirus Free, DNA tested and principally Homozygous Poll. Kenmere's breed objectives are to produce soft animals with positive carcase traits all with a commercial target. Particular emphasis on good growth and positive rib & rump fat. Offering 48 steers over two lots in todays sale - 2 lots of 24 head these are the younger weaners with 24 yearlings offered as well. Please note that there is the very odd steer that was late marked with rings, they may still be a little proud and raw underneath but will grow out well and have no detriment to quality. These calves will grow out into high yielding, heavy boned, top grade carcases finished on either grain or grass.
