Very quiet young steers, that were all very well behaved throughout the assessment, led up the race quietly, all stood sensibly on the crush, and exited at a walk, 3 steers a bit anxious in the crush, doing some stomping and weaving. Very quiet to share the yards with for photographing, no rushing through any gateways or showing any signs of anxiety in the yards. Regularly handled with dogs, horses & the motorbike. A pleasure to assess, and a real credit to the vendor.

Pure Ardenside* Angus Blood baby bullocks (*40 years of pure Te Mania genetics) Steers are long, deep bodied, out of large framed cows, by select Ardenside Angus sires. Bred to be high yielding, structurally correct with top end 600 day weights. Very well mannered steers that would be a pleasure to fatten. Usually value added on farm and taken out to export weights. Only offered for sale to lighten the numbers and get a proper finish on the Spring drop steers. Buyers please Note. Vendor has another couple of lots of the lighter sisters in the same sale (6 months younger) and a lot of Autumn drop steers.
