Heifers worked well through the race with a minimum of fuss & stood quietly on the scales. One heifer jumped around a little when singled out on scales but quickly settled once back in the mob. The majority of these heifers have had exposure to horses.

A great opportunity to purchase a rarely available line of high grade, purebred, performance recorded Charolais Heifers. Sold as unregistered commercial heifers they are on the market due to the ongoing dry season. Coming from a closed herd that is JBAS 7, Pestivirus Free, DNA tested and principally Homozygous Poll. Kenmere's breed objectives are to produce soft animals with positive carcase traits all with a commercial target. Particular emphasis on high milking, easy birthweight, good growth and positive rib & rump fat. Offering 58 heifers over two lots in todays sale - 1 x 25 Head & 1 x 33 head these are the older, heavier yearlings with 33 weaners offered as well. These soft, feminine heifers display great volume, frame & bone and will make great future matrons.
Kenmere Charolais are also offering the purchaser of these heifers a $1,000 Credit to operate at their Annual Bull Sale in March 2025.
