Typical Northern Territory and Northern Qld bred, they can move very freely if allowed but will block up when pressure is applied. Very very good to handle in the paddock but typical to type they can feel unsettled when too much pressure is applied. They have been well handled and flowed very well through the yards and race, stood well on the scales that were not centered in the crush.

250 Brangus & Brahman cross steers. Steers have been bred across family properties in Northern Qld, Northern Territory and or the current property at Charters Towers. Bred from Brahman, Brangus and Charbray bulls in a Brahman X Cow herd presenting as a line of 80% Flatbacks and 20% Brahman X types (Mid to medium hump). HGP-treated with Compudose 400 in late ‘24 or May ‘25. Branded #5 or 2nd round - late branded #4's. They present in store to forward store condition and have a tight weight range of 220kg to 346kg, av 272kg after mustering and an overnight dry curfew (One light & heavy steer in photos to be removed). Some very big weight compensatory gains as these steers are all frame and ready to improve and grow shown the right grass or oats crop. *Pre-dipped at CT Saleyards with Amitix on Thursday 31/7 and will be delivered to the Saleyards to present for tick clearing. Vendor to pay scratching and yard fees but any costs after will be passed onto the buyer.
