A small line of Angus & Angus x Hereford steer weaners that will either perform as backgrounders or majority would currently suit a domestic feedlot programme. Bulls are selected for high EBV’s, growth, good bone structure & length. Steers would normally grown out for the heavy feeder market. Tail of steers have been taken out & sold in saleyards. Of the 26 steers assessed, 1 with blue eye, old scaring & not detrimental & 1 with small amount of ringworm.
