A line of Angus/Brangus x weaner steers. 4 - 8 months, 94 to 158 kgs to average 130 kgs after a 17 hour dry curfew. These steers are very quiet to handle both in the yards and paddock. A few steers were bred from composite cows that could have some Limo or Hereford genetics. Up until the past week, the season at Heywood has been very dry. Some of these steers were weaned early. They are all in store to backward store condition (see video). One steer had a ring put on a few weeks back, not a problem. They are all clean around the head and although mostly in backward store condition are ideal to put away on good feed. NB: See two other lots of vendor bred weaners in this sale.
