Steers were good to handle throughout the yards and race. Two steers became unsettled in the crush and exited quickly. Most settled when back together in the holding yard, one steer continued to pace and would not settle, although he was quiet and settled 5 days later when some photos were retaken.

A line of mostly very good quality vendor bred steers. 80% medium framed with three head large framed and two small framed. Steers are sired by Mooroobie Angus bulls over Angus & Angus/Hereford cows. Steers have not had access to any grain or cotton seed and are PCAS eligible. They would suit to take to the heavy end of export feeder weights and finish for a range of high quality markets. Please note that one 295kg steer was ringed at assessment, displaying minimal SMSC, not anticipated to raise any issues at export feeder weights, see photo #4 (VID #49). Cattle were weighed after a long curfew, they were mustered the night before assessment, taken off their Mothers at 8am day of assesment and were assessed at 2pm. Steers have also been vaccinated with two doses of 5 in 1. Weekend pickup available, vendor would prefer to load before Tuesday morning, 48 hours notice required prior to loading
