These steers were good to handle and have been through the yards numerous times. One steer was unsettled on the scales and was sitting at the back of the mob for photos. They have had ample human interaction.

Backgrounder weighted Angus steers that will be suited for future feedlot entry. These steers were purchased in as a trade due to favourable seasonal conditions. They offer immediate compensatory weight gains carrying minimal cover but have frame. They were bought in as weaners throughout winter and early spring and have performed well. The tops were recently sold to a feedlot and these are the seconds. Currently being held in the yards on clover based hay and will remain so until delivery. Given conditions the odd weepy eye is expected at delivery. If any appear detrimental they won’t be delivered, currently they are holding up very well and with a bit more maturity no issues are expected. 100% grass fed and antibiotic free. Vendor is offering 118 tops and 34 seconds of his weaners and 72 sisters also in today’s sale.
