Assessor Comments
The Black Baldy draft of the ‘Injemira’ weaner steers. These steers are primarily sired by Hazeldean Angus bulls with a percentage of calves sired by AI Sires Chiltern Park Moe and Texas Powerplay. Approximately 15% of the steers appear to be sired by Lancaster SimAngus Bulls (3/4Angus1/4Sim) and show slight European characteristics. Calves are out of Angus/Hereford Females bred on ‘Broadlands’ in SE South Australia. Steers display good weight for age despite young weaning age and are not carrying any excess condition and will do extremely well given the right opportunity, with previous calves reaching feeder and export weights with ease. Please note vendor has another 3 lots in sale totalling 196 weaners.
