The heifers are extremely good to handle, barely anything fidgeted at all in the crush or race with nearly all walking on and off the scales calmly without rush. The vendors spend a lot of time handling their cattle and it shows in how calm and content they are.

From the renowned "Longway" Santa Gertrudis herd of cows, large frame & exceptional temperament & quality. A pleasure to handle - suitable breeder replacement heifers that will move ahead very quickly on good feed - acclimatized to eating pallets from tubs and bunkers growing well since weaning, great bone length and style. A very even draft , very clean and tidy heads with the majority poll.

The heifers will remain yarded until delivery and have access to good quality Sorghum hay & Mitchell grass hay ad lib. Previously when on the cows good quality Mitchell grass on sweet pebble country with herbages and salines in the paddock.
