Assessor Comments
A lovely line of 29 x Aug/ Sep 2023 Drop Crawford Blood Angus Steers. The steers present well as a group and represent the lead of the Davey & McGrath 2023 drop, a tail was removed at assessment. The steers handle well and exhibit sound temperament typical of well educated weaners. Born at Delegate, the steers have been running on grazing wheat at Bungendore since the start of May. Currently gaining between .7 and .9kg/ day the steers are perfectly set up to continue weight gain into the spring to reach feedlot entry later in the year. Approx 4 head exhibit ring worm scarring and 3 head were noted with faint eye scarring.
A great opportunity to secure 29 x vendor bred steers and another 60 x steers of similar quality and weight, run under the same conditions.
