Steers have been very well handled and were drafted with ease and moved throughout the yards with no fuss at all. Handled the assessment and weighing process with no issues. A handful of steers became nervous under pressure in the crush & on the scales but nothing of aggressive nature.

Assessor Comments
30 Angus Steers, 10-12 months Vendor Bred, yard weaned, drenched and vaccinated. Ready to perform. The Hengstberger family have been breeding Angus Cattle for 40 years in South Gippsland and produce renowned performing progeny year in and year out. These steers are no exception. Steers have been very well handled and were a breeze to assess. Principally bred using Clunie Range Stud Angus Bulls and Clunie Range AI sires these calves have come through a tough autumn and are ready to stack on the weight. Yard weaned, given the MH IBR Vaccine and 2 x 5in1 shots before heading out and to enjoy a good pick of improved pasture as well as a ration of 'Irwin Stockfeeds' 'Grain Free Pellet mix' to keep them moving forward throughout winter and into spring. An easy recommendation for purchasers looking to add a young mob of well bred steers to their spring paddocks for growing into a nice article of feeder steers or running on into bullocks.
