Steers were mostly good to handle in the crush and yards. Three steers would not stand still or settle while in the crush and two exited quickly. All remained quiet when back in the mob & when being photographed.

A mostly good to very good quality line of vendor bred Angus steers. Steers were yard weaned in several mobs from March to May 2024 and worked through the yards and educated to hay racks throughout the weaning process. All are sired by Hazeldean Angus bulls with the full sire list provided. One steer has a small amount of warts on the face, not seen as detrimental. Another steer with a blue eye spot in one eye, see photo #9. All steers received first dose of 5 in 1 at branding from December - January & received the 2nd dose plus Ivomec backliner at weaning from March - May 2024. Please note that two steers with white on the navel & one with a fair amount of navel that are visible in the video have been removed from the assessment. Steers have not had access to grain or cotton seed and would suit to take to feeder weights for a range of high quality markets.
