Very quiet steers and a pleasure to handle. A lot of emphasis is put on the temperament of this herd and the results are evident in these weaners. These steers are quiet to docile and move easily and have been very well handled. One steer was a little unsettled on the scales but settled immediately after being released.

Assessor Comments
Complete drop of weaned Angus steer weaners. They have not had a setback and are not overdone. These steers were a pleasure to handle through the yards and it is notable they have been well handled. These steers are 100% grassfed and antibiotic free. Genetically bred by large framed quality Reiland and Hazeldean bld Angus dams sired by Reiland bulls they are carrying years of genetic investment. The quality of the genetics used and the strict selection criteria for replacement heifers is evident in the temperament and growth of these steers given their weight at 7-10 months of age. These steers have previously sold to repeat buyers and have been grown out to bullocks when required. Due to receiving constant human interaction from birth these calves are naturally settled and calm and are suitable for all operations. Please note sisters also being offered in today’s sale.
