Very good steers to handle. Well educated through yards. Walked through race and stood on scales with a minimum of fuss. Very quiet steers to walk through and felt safe to get close enough to touch when yarded

A deck of 32 x Yearling Steers that present in a tight weight range and are pure Dunoon Blood. Out of Large framed Cows these steers present in strong store condition and have grown out well considering the challenging seasonal conditions in the Holbrook District at present. Steers with the frame and age to make quick compensatory weight gains either off grass or grain. Traditionally sold as heavy feeder steers or grass fed kill cattle they have a solid history of performance either off grass & grain. There are 3 x Black Baldy Steers in the draft, 2 are Broken Baldies with minimal white and one has a white face, see photos. 2 x Steers have old pinkeye scarring on eye but still have full sight and would pass a feedlot inspection, see photos for example. Ideal yearlings to grow into heavy feeders for the late winter market or would suit a grass fed program. Steers are freeze branded on the Near Side Rump. Grass fed & antibiotic free declaration available upon request.
