Assessor Comments
A very nice run of backgrounder steers, these steers would normally be retained and grown out to feeder weights. They are only being offered for sale now as seasonal conditions deteriorate in western vic. These steers have been getting adlib hay and also getting a ration of crushed barley daily, making them well suited to continue to be fed. These steers have plenty of stretch and frame and are starting to shape up nicely. Ideal steers to turn out and grow into feeders or bullocks. The steers with pink eye scarring can be removed at buyers request. Please note this vendor has another lot of heifers up as well. Vendor is also offering delivery until the 20/7 to allow successful purchasers the ability to top trucks up at WVLX store sale on the 18/7 with 5,500 head there.
