Once again a credit to the vendors and a clear product of a proper weaning and education process. Absolutely no fuss to handle throughout the entire process. Having worked these cattle for many years this has been the norm year in year out. Note there are a couple of scarred eyes from the weaning process, nothing detrimental, only scars not full blue eyes.

Assessor Comments
A top notch line of Angus heifers here ready to join up to the bulls of your choice. By high end Lawson Angus sires selected for growth, marbling and carcase attributes, EU accredited, double Pesti and 7in1 vaccinated, these certainly tick all the boxes. Two very even lines are being offered in this sale - totaling 66 head - they have been split purely along weight lines across the scales. You put can put both lots back together or keep separate if it suits, just offered this way to give maximum flexibility. If they do all go back together you wont pick the difference in the heifers by the time they have a calf at foot - its hard enough to see the visual difference in them now. The Balcomb herd is of longstanding and some renown on the tablelands, has been a prominent vendor in the Blue Ribbon Weaner sales at CTLX, they have had no expense spared in their breeding and represent a great opportunity to secure a high class line of females that will go on to be fantastic matrons for years
