Generally all in this lot displayed a reasonably sound/quiet temperament & were good to handle in the yard at assessment - It was noted during weighing/going through the crush that 8 did become slightly stirry/nervous/agitated - Not considered detrimental in anyway, all the steers settled down well when let back together in the yard & back into the paddock

Assessor Comments
33 Angus steer calves - All vendor bred & yard weaned 1/5/21 - Spring drop 2020, rising 8-9 months, majority ‘Dunoon’ blood - Presenting in fresh store/forward store condition with sound medium to large frame - These steers are suitable to grow out to target a grass fed steer/bullock fattening market or alternatively ideal to background & take out to heavy feeder weights - All Grass Fed/No Antibiotics, a signed PCAS non-certified supplier declaration is available upon buyer request - These steers come highly recommended by the agent as previous drafts have performed well with weigh gain & growth - Noted doing Angus cattle - NOTE - 1 steer is presenting with a small patch of white underneath belly & some steers are presenting slightly dirty around the tail due to recent access to an oat crop since weaning, neither are considered detrimental - The vendors also has 15 younger steers listed in this sale with the opportunity to purchase 48 (1 mark) Angus steer calves
