34 Weaned Vendor-Bred Hereford Steers
A very attractive line of mountain-bred Hereford steers originating from the Omeo and Benambra districts. These cattle present in forward store condition, showing good frame, softness, and doing ability.
The steers are vendor-bred and carry respected bloodlines including Mawarra, Karoonda, Sugarloaf, and Warragundi. They have been well weaned and handled, and are respectful of fences and electric tapes. The cattle were noted to be slightly stirry in the yards, attributed to the ad-lib, grain-free pellet ration they have been on, on which they have performed very well.
A small percentage show old pink-eye scars, none of which are active or detrimental.
These steers are Never Ever accredited and present a genuine opportunity to secure an even line of quality Herefords with depth, growth, and performance. Another lot of 20 younger steers from the same line is also being offered in this sale.
