Heifers were very good to handle in and through the yards. They have been educated with Low Stress Stock handling practices and move well throughout the yards. Five head became slightly agitated while standing in the crush. All settled once back together in the yards and remained calm while being photographed.

A good to mostly very good quality line of vendor bred Angus x Angus heifers. The main Angus bloodlines are from Mooroobie Angus, Dulverton Angus and Nairn Park Angus bulls over Angus cows. Their LWR was 283kg - 357kg at assessment after being held overnight in a small holding paddock near the yards. 76% large framed with the balance medium framed, this line is the lead of the vendors Angus weaner heifers, the top 70% have the potential to become very good quality future breeders. The heifers have been handled using Low Stress Stock handling techniques and have been educated to hay racks, troughs, single wire electric fences, dogs, horses and bikes. They have not been fed grain and would suit to pasture finish for a range of high quality slaughter markets. Please note vendor also has another lot in this sale of Angus & Angus cross heifers that would make a full 2 decks.
