Heifers worked pretty well through portable panel yards given they had only been of Mum 24 hours with minimal handling. Most were able to turn around in the race leading up to the head bale which caused them to panic and stir up, most settled down fairly well on their release. Likely to require further education from the purchaser.

Assessor Comments
A vendor bred line of good and very good quality, mostly Angus with 3 head showing a small amount of cross, light weight weaner heifers. Sired by good quality Stud Angus bulls and out of predominately medium to large frame Angus and Angus cross cow herd. Most of these heifers have the quality, temperament and shape suitable for breeding purposes, as the vendor has not retained any. All of these heifers would be suitable to background through to feedlot entry weights as a trade, heavy feeder or kill weights given the right conditions. Please note vendor also have a line of steers in the sale as well.
