They were good to handle in the race and through the crush. Five head were slightly agitated in and exiting the crush and one steer was moderately agitated. All settled quickly back in the mob. One steer still move quickly from one yard to the other. Nothing aggressive in the mob.

A good to very good quality line of vendor bred yearling steers. They range from Angus cross through to some red composite steers and some Angus x steers showing some Bos Indicus content. Some of the Angus x steers would visually pass as Angus x Angus (see photos and video). They are medium to large frame and they suit to background to heavy domestic and then onto export feeder steer weights. They have had their 1st shot of Bovilis on the 17/02/25 - details attached in photo. They have not had access to grain and are eligible for Grass finished programs. Two steers noted with slight blue eye scarring in one eye and another two steers with mild warts near eyes and around neck - not considered detrimental. Nice functional steers that will continue to move ahead on good feed through autumn and winter.
