Exceptionally quiet young females, that were all very well behaved throughout the assessment, led up the race quietly, all stood sensibly on the crush, and exited at a walk. Very quiet to share the yards with for photographing, no rushing through any gateways or showing any signs of anxiety. A pleasure to handle, and a real credit to the vendor.

Assessor Comments
Pure Ardenside Angus Blood (40 years of pure Te Mania lineage) Heifers are long bodied, out of large framed cows, and should mature to be good, large framed, proper females. Bred for ease of calving, correct structure & 600 day growth. Females that would be ideal to put out with the bulls in the coming weeks and get in to an Autumn calving cycle to either trade on or retain. Alternatively, these heifers are well grown with plenty of frame and offer plenty of compensatory weight gain opportunity, and would ideal to continue on grass, or start on a feed ration & fatten for the Spring. Heifers with a real stand out temperament that were a pleasure to share the yards with.
