Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Well educated steers that worked through the yards, race & crush with a minimum of fuss. One steer got a little agitated on scales but very quickly settled once back in the mob. Steers are worked with and have exposure to dogs, buggies, bikes & vehicles. No hesitation in recommending their temperament.

Assessor Comments
Properly weaned, well educated Autumn drop Angus Steer calves out of a high grade Rennylea & Dunoon Blood Angus Herd. Complete drop less a small tail that are heavy boned, soft skinned steers that will make ideal feeders or equally suited as top grade kill bodies either off grass or grain. Showing great growth for age and have been averaging 1.2kg DWG since weaning in a tough year. Around 1/2 of these calves are AI bred by the $240,000 Landfall Signature Sire purchased by Dunoon. Please note there are 5 steers that were late cut and still showing some pizzle but will grow out and not be detrimental, there were 6 Steers noted with old pinkeye scarring but still have sight in the eye (see last photo for worst example). There is also a small amount of warts on a few steers and white underneath around 40% of draft. One Steer has an old abscess lump under jaw (see photo) and the purchaser has the right to leave out if desired. Grass fed & Antibiotic free declaration available on request.

Vendor Comments
Annual sale of Weaner Steers, showing great frame & bone. Ideal feeders. Would have liked to have retained them through to heavy kill cattle but seasonal conditions say sell.
