These steers were very good to handle in all parts of yards whilst drafting, and weighing. They worked up through the race and crush well. Some steers did become agitated whilst being weighed (not unusual). They settled well back in the mob once drafted. It would be recommended that the new purchaser spends time to let steers settle into their new environment and some time is spent with these steers outside the yards.

These steers stand on good bone, and confirmation and would be ideal backgrounders for buyers to grow out to heavy feeder or export weights. These steers are normally grown out to heavy feeders and are noted performers on feed. Please note vendor has another 80 steers in the same sale.

These steers are out of a run of good quality cross bred cows comprising of mainly Santa & Brangus cows and by Burenda Angus bulls.
Grazing Conditions
These steer have been grazing on a body of hayed off native and improved pastures and sorghum stubble whilst still on their mothers until assessment.
Returned to: Good quality barley hay.
