These heifers were mustered, drafted off their mothers and assessed on 5th, trucked 400km on 6th and then will be yard weaned until delivery, so steers will have been in hand a minimum of 2 weeks before delivery and since assessed. First time through the yards since branding. Heifers were reasonably sensible and pretty well behaved working through the yards however were prone to panic in the head bale, and on the scales but most settled down pretty well on their release, a few remained flighty

Assessor Comments
Vendor bred Angus and Angus cross heifers that have been running on agistment block at Gurley NSW. No heifers are retained. Very good & good quality heifers that have enough softness and shape to be useful breeders or to do a trade feeder heifer job and enough frame and bone to also grow out to heavy export feeder weights or to fatten to kill. Please note Vendor has brothers in the same sale.
